Double
Bass Mania: To
be honest, there basically is nothing
else available commercially like the Double
Bass Mania disc. You are not going to
write speed metal or classic 80's metal
with some collection of funky, pop, or
even with what some call "rock"
drum loops. Yeah, you've heard them -
weak-sounding grooves played on a set
of v-drums. Makes us sick to hear that
called "rock" drum loops. Put
in another way: you are NOT going to find
stuff like this at bland, vanilla, generic,
"let's sell stuff that is all the
same" loop companies. Don't be fooled
by loop discs that claim they "really
rock" or are "great for use
in heavy metal" - no one offers a
full-blown disc of powerful, fast, sheer
